Directions to Bramdean
|

|
Here are some directions for how to get to Bramdean House from London and the M25. It should take you between 70 and 90 minutes from Central London. In case of real navigational disaster, the telephone number at Bramdean House is 01962 771214.

|
|
|
A3 route – normally the quickest from South West London and from M25 if coming from East (i.e. Kent, Gatwick etc.)
§ Leave London on A3 [OR Join A3 southbound from M25]
§ Just after Guildford, branch left onto the A31 (towards Farnham etc.)
§ Stay on A31 for about half an hour until you have passed through the village of Ropley
§ At next roundabout, take the first left (signposted Bramdean)
§ Follow this road for 3 miles until T junction at bottom of hill by garage
§ Turn right
§ Bramdean House is 200 yards on your right (after the end of the long bumpy hedge on the right, and opposite a black and white stripey sign to the left saying “12th Century Church”) – turn into a yard which is through the right hand of the two gateways

M3 route – normally the quickest from West London and from M25 if coming from North / West (i.e. Oxfordshire, Heathrow etc.)
§ Leave London on M3 [OR Join M3 southbound from M25]
§ Stay on M3 until junction 4 where you get off onto the A331 [signed to Farnham]
§ After about 10 minutes you will come to the A31. Take the signs for Farnham and not for those heading back to Guildford
§ Once on the A31, follow on past Farnham staying on this road for 20 minutes or so. Once you've passed through Ropley, follow the end of instructions per the A3 route above
